SOLNOX

aka Marius Beyer, born in Hamburg, Germany, is an extraordinary, multitalented artist and natural force of creation. He is the founder of the sober dance movement Nirvadance® (former Ecstatic Dance Hamburg) which has been sold out more than 108 times and counting. Here he holds ritual space and performs about half of the shows as a DJ and musician.

His vision is to bring sober and substance-free dancing to the heart of society — to make the natural high accessible to everyone, for a happier and healthier life.

His mission is to create unity by setting up spaces where we can reconnect with each other through dancing and our most fundamental common ground: knowing at heart that behind all our diverse opinions, definitions, and perspectives, we are all human beings — and part of the same universal consciousness.

He is an accomplished mentor and has taught well-known acts like Felix Jaehn, Tayphoon, Leah Luna, and the rising artist Pia Rosa the art of conscious DJing. He possesses a deeply grounded understanding of how to reflect human emotions through music and how to guide ones spirit into a transcendent and transformative flow state.

The artistic career began at the age of 12 with the discovery of the didgeridoo, which he still occasionally incorporates into his outstanding performances. He has played multiple times at legendary festivals such as Fusion and Parookaville, as well as in iconic venues like the Porsche Pavillon — in cities ranging from L.A. to Helsinki to Berlin. He has also brought Nirvadance to top-tier venues like Hamburg’s resonanzraum, the JazzHall, and the Mozartsäle.

He has appeared on major German television networks like ARD and NDR, and in prominent newspapers and magazines such as Hamburger Abendblatt, Berliner Tageszeitung, MOPO, and Stern, among many others. In 2017, he was awarded the Projekt N Award by the German government for his Organic Beats Solar Tour (O.B.S.T.), a climate protection initiative. He also holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and has been actively engaged in environmental protection for over two decades.
